According to the latest data, over 59,000 industrial units in industrial towns and zones across the country are active, creating jobs for approximately 1.3 million people. Over the years, various issues, including difficulties in securing working capital, bank loans, lack of market, sourcing raw materials, and machinery, had led to the closure of many industrial units. Reviving these units through various means has been one of the government’s missions.
Based on this, by January this year, 897 idle industrial units have been reactivated within these industrial complexes, creating 17,000 jobs in the process. From the beginning of the year to date, 1,240 new production units have been established in these industrial towns and zones, generating employment for 17,727 people.
Overall, from the beginning of the year to date, the launch of new units and the revival of idle units have collectively created jobs for about 36,000 people in these industrial towns and zones.
